With a BSW
You can apply to any of our MSW programs with your Bachelor of Social Work degree, as long as you meet the minimum entrance requirements.
With another degree
If you have a degree in another discipline, you can apply to the MSW program, provided you meet the minimum admission requirements. Your MSW will begin with a year of foundational study.
Graduate Certificates
If you have a BSW, you can apply to the MSW program after completing two graduate certificates (Advanced Social Work Practice and Clinical Social Work Practice).
Will I get in? Minimum admission requirements
- A four-year bachelor degree from an accredited/recognized institution with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a four-point scale. The degree must be awarded prior to the start of the program. We cannot accept a letter of completion as a replacement for degree award.
- The equivalent of two years of full-time paid work or a minimum of 3,000 hours of paid and/or volunteer work in the human services field.
- English Language Proficiency.
Offers of admission are valid for the term to which you apply.
